Serving Woodstock, Atlanta & North Georgia Families

Your baby’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities during every newborn photography session. As a trained newborn photographer in Woodstock, GA, I follow strict safety guidelines and never attempt poses that could put your baby at risk. Capturing a beautiful image is never more important than your newborn’s well-being.

I am professionally trained in safe newborn posing techniques and use composite editing when needed to create certain poses safely. This means some images are carefully blended from multiple photos, ensuring your baby is always fully supported. Parents are often invited to act as spotters during sessions, so there are always attentive hands and eyes on your little one.

I’ve had the incredible opportunity to be mentored by world-renowned newborn and maternity photographer Ana Brandt. Through extensive hands-on training—and by hosting her Atlanta Newborn Masterclass in my Woodstock, Georgia studio—I’ve developed a refined approach that combines artistic newborn photography with the highest standards of safety.

Every detail of your session is thoughtfully prepared. All props are thoroughly sanitized, carefully selected, and designed to be soft and gentle on your baby’s delicate skin. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and relaxing experience while creating timeless newborn portraits your family will treasure.

What to Expect from Your Newborn Session

I have an extensive collection of beautiful, hand-crafted outfits, headbands, wraps, buckets, bowls, and more, so there’s no need to bring anything from home.

If there’s something specific from my collection you’d like to use during your session, just let me know!

PROPS & OUTFITS:

Relax—this happens all the time! Babies often pee or poop on the fabrics (and sometimes on me!). It’s completely normal and expected.

Everything is washed and fully sanitized after each session, so the studio is always fresh and ready for the next little one.

PEE & POOP:

Sessions usually start at 10:00 AM, when babies are generally calmer and less fussy.
Newborns can be unpredictable, so session lengths vary. Most sessions last 3–4 hours, but some have been as short as 90 minutes or as long as 5 hours.

We take as many breaks as your baby needs for feeding, diaper changes, and soothing—everything at your baby’s pace to ensure a calm and relaxed experience.

SESSION TIME:

The studio has everything you need to stay comfortable during your session, including:
  • A comfy couch to relax on
  • Drinks and snacks for parents
  • A changing table for baby
  • Extra baby supplies, including diapers, wipes, and pacifiers
  • Everything is here so you can focus on enjoying this special time with your little one!

AMENITIES:

To keep your baby comfortable and happy during the session, the studio will be kept warm—around 80°F—even when posing without clothes.

Parents, wear layers you can easily remove so you stay comfortable in the heat while helping baby settle.
